When you request to schedule your first appointment we will first ask you for your health insurance information. With your permission, we will contact your insurance company to verify your eligibility and behavioral health benefits.
While we try to be as accurate as possible when verifying benefits, your fees may change depending on your eligibility and benefits during the dates of your sessions. We won't know your exact fee until we bill your insurance and get your explanation of benefits back from your insurance company. You are also encouraged to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask your member representative what your 'mental health, outpatient, office visit' benefits are. It is ultimately your responsibility to understand your insurance plan benefits and eligibility.
Emotional Health Partners uses a HIPAA compliant electronic health record to store all client information confidentially. As part of our practice policies, you will be asked to maintain an up-to-date credit or debit card for all co-pays, co-insurance payments, or outstanding balance. You will be fully reimbursed if you are ever over- or wrongfully charged.
If you have insurance coverage that we are not currently working with, and you’d still like to schedule an appointment, you’ll be expected to pay the full fee at the time of the session. We are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Some employers offer Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). These are contracts your employer has with a company to ensure you have access to behavioral health therapy. One of the ways they support you is by offering a certain amount of counseling sessions “on them” at minimal or no cost to you because it’s a part of your benefit package. Check with your employer’s human resources representative to see what possible benefits you have for EAP behavioral health coverage.
Please note: According to Emotional Health Partners, EAP programs are designed to direct you to a clinician that feels like a good fit for you and to establish care. Once the EAP sessions are used and you have established care with your provider, your insurance plan coverage will begin, and we will not utilize anymore EAP sessions even if they become available when your insurance plan coverage re-enrolls.
Also accepting private pay and health savings accounts. Please contact Emotional Health Partners to discuss rates.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to give us a call at any time.
After requesting your appointment you will receive a confirmation email with additional required intake information.
Your requested appointment day and time will be canceled if this information isn’t completed within 24 hours.
Emotional Health Partners is privately owned and operated by practicing mental health clinicians. Emotional Health Partners never records sessions, shares information (unless authorized by our clients), and does not utilize artificial intelligence during sessions.
